I think the risk is moderate at its highest, I don't think the risk is huge as you write.

When you think of some of the factors as to why you would invest in Neon, considering Cua Lo on its own and why I think it's moderate risk:-

1) 3D seismic data to select drilling site
2) Proximity to proven and producing gas fields
3) Song Hong Basin characteristics
4) Production testing itself is afoot
5) 150m with say a 70% recovery factor of gas shows
6) Brokers reports and the views therein
7) Words like "eagerly awaiting" and "well-within" in company announcements...

Add others yourself! A further factor is that for the doubt that exists by reason of the fact there is no final announcement, no naysayer can produce any material that suggests a failure. All the naysayers can do is point to general unknowns- Co2, lack of funding, no market to sell any gas into etc.
