Tobyjack, many threads are given a similar session once every now and again.
Our moderators tend to allow some venting after bad news, and they understand people get emotionally smashed and then post things they wouldn't normally.
We're all human, and there's a back up for forgiveness if posts were so shocking they caused permanent suspension! (That's not an excuse to lose your cool, and it's way better to count to 10 before posting after a mind explosion)
