It also depends on if we have a solid economic wack.

If you go from $500k pa to zip and can't get a job at that salary - say you can get work for $200k if you are lucky - you are still buggered.

I know - been there. Thank god, I didn't have large debts.

10 grand a week to bugger all changes things a tad I can tell you.

And the dole just doesn't cut it for a 1 mil. mortgage.

I think we are going to have an up blip in Aus. - perhaps generally, certainly in some sectors and I think in real estate ------------ but, again, we are at risk of what happens overseas -- and imo any green shoots are much more hope than reality.
Anyone who thinks the world isn't in an historic time economically is just living under a rock.

Things might be ok, but, there is huge risk out there - and in those times I just would not want to be stuck with a big debt and the slightest chance of economic winds.

We shall see.
