So while I am dreaming about what BKP can do to improve its position....which one hopes they are also doing...

BKP could by subtle means make it clear to Statoil that it will sell out to a Major player, but not to Statoil, but will desist if Statoil agree to provide the shortfall in BKP's obligation for the 2014 program.


$25m would make it quite attractive I imagine for its tax offsets, plus the potential value of the project itself.

Thus BKP need to get out there ASAP and start having private meetings with other major oil companies. Is just an idea, but better than sitting doing nothing. You never know what you might shake free, and it will also indicate how confident Statoil are in this project, if they readily come to the party.

Just sayin..

Also BKP could do a deal with another compay, free carry to look at its conventional potential where it has a 75% interest.
