For those asking what am I on and saying I am looking for someone to blame....
As I said in the original post, nothing Ken could have done would have changed the results of the wells...
HOWEVER...more regular, accurate information to the market would have let shareholders and traders alike manage their risks better. For eg, I cant recall any significant inference of CO2 being an issue until the last announcement...as I think a few of the experts have said on HC, ENI would have surely had some idea (though not accurate)earlier in the drill. Its not just Vietnam, he showed the same behaviour with Paloma.
As for looking for looking for someone to blame, its not blame, it the business world that the hard facts are, the buck DOES stop with the CEO and his head should roll based on the way he has managed / included stakeholders who funded his salary and the drill.
