Elders shareholders would have been much better off if the company had gone into administration when Jackman came along rather than sinking $500million into the 2009 recap that has subsequently been shown to have been promoted on fictitious forecasts and valuations with all that capital and more now having been written off.
Elders management love to boast about the debt they have reduced but forget to admit they have written off far more equity.
