The way stock trading has evolved, it has many similarities to a poker machine.
You put your money in (or buy shares) and press the button (wait for the market to open) and you see what comes up..
Every spin (every trading day) is unknown until it happens.
You may get 5 in a row (a good announcement) or nothing (like most trading days)
Luck has a huge part to play in poker machines, (and in buying stocks) you can do all the research but its the next spin that counts..the robot, algorithmic trading, dark pools etc, plus huge director salaries, and no accountability, insider trading (even though we know it never happens) have made share ownership a farce.
back to the pokies, I have a better chance of making $$$$
