I guess my point is the price discovery mechanism is significantly distorted when half of the shares offered for sale in a day aren't owned by the people who are selling them. There is a distortion which is meant to encourage others to sell. The other problem is the volumes at the moment are down as the bigger players are on holidays so there is increased volatility.
