When I am very confident about a stock (as with CAZ) I happily use a form of averaging down. Usually I double buy (occasionally triple buy).

Next step is to list for sale half of the stock. Depending on sentiment this couble be:

1. At slightly above the average price.
2. At slightly above the new lower purchase price.

By this means I realise my losses in an on-going way.

It has been a boon to speculators how the minister has injected fear, uncertainty and doubt. We all know it will be awarded in CAZ's favour. But WA needs another "small guy makes riches from mining in our state" story to keep the interest bubbling along. I think he has chosen well with CAZ. $3 plus is 80% certain in my book and we all have the opportunity of plenty of time to get more CAZ for less.
