Lei, I missed your earlier post but the LAMP has no final separation facilities for SEG or HRE into finished product. From the Lynas presentations it seems clear that LAMP1 will produce a combined SEG/HRE concentrate whereas LAMP2 will produce a separate SEG and a separate HRE concentrate. May not seem significant but it does create three products one of which has a higher concentrate of the valuable Eu stream. Earlier presentation had a note to the effect that SEG & HRE would be toll processed externally. Incidently Rhodia have that capacity at their La Rochelle facility in France (don't eat the mussels) and restarted the full 18 pot SX circuit last Feb, which coincided with the LAMP.
One of the things I've been pointing at for weeks without a solitary comment is that the AR clearly showed Lynas shipping the magnet stream into China, and on to Japan. Obvious inference there is that China is finishing these products and at least a portion is onsold to Japan. The question here goes right back to Lynas's earlier efforts to locate the LAMP inside China which was abandoned because they would not relax the export quota costs, VAT & tariffs.
Not sure how many understand the significance of this development but it does suggest a very substantial change is underway in the RE universe. I am hoping the term "concentrate" refers to material post LAMP and not pre, or Mt Weld, concentrate, for obvious reasons.
Was going to buy a few more on solid break of 32.5c but I'll wait for some clarification on this news now.
