someone else is hurting

It is worthwhile reading the thread #10079523 across on the MEO forum.

Seems to parallel the MEL position - lots of money being spent and no progress to show for it.

But there are lots more parallels: -

Nick Heath was also Chairman across at MEO until he resigned late last year to be replaced by Greg Short.

Greg joined the MEL Board shortly before Nick decided to retire as MEL Chairman.

Nick and Greg are both ex Esso.

MD and CEO of MEO, Jurgen Hendrik, is, you guessed it, also ex Esso.

So MEO and MEL have very similar Board and management structures and both seem to be badly suffering from lots of non productive expenditure.

MEL is blaming the NSW Government, can't quite work out who MEO is blaming.

Just hope Nick and Greg can keep their O's and L's straight.
