as I see it, the well for 77h has been simplified to almost idiot proof. what concerns me is that its the same people managing 77 as did 76. I worry about that.
I have little doubt that 77 will eventually succeed technically. the key point is when. I understand the rig is well on its way. but are the supporting contracts let? No-one seems to know.
let's hope they now can control costs!
being committed to the company is the only option, but don't get too excited about the news. It normally takes about 3 months of testing and 3 months of analysis before any third party will announce any reserves. Only on reserves should there be significant sp moves. anything else will be speculation. let's hope there's lots of optimism.
