I'm sure you are right Bomber. I just hope they interview me when they carry out their survey as:
- my mother died when I was six;
- I never saw my father after the age of seventeen, and not very often even before that time, and consequently lived with an aunt and uncle for a time.
- most of my schooling was in boarding schools, where you had to be tough and, because of the bullies, be part of a group and be prepared to stand up for yourself;
And:
- I never bashed anybody;
- I was never out of a job as I always made certain I had another job before I gave notice;
- I studied for my degree whilst still working a full time job,(my employer reimbursed me fees every time I passed an exam).
It makes me sick when I hear all the excuses trotted out to justify this thuggish, and sometimes murderous, behaviour. I remember having a rather 'vigorous' discussion with a friend of a friend who worked in the welfare field on this very same topic. The excuses she made for these thugs made me sick!
