Lang Walker increased his stake recently from 2.4 percent (back in 2011) to 21.72% via his Auckland Trust and Walker Group entities. Other astute Kiwis, Lance Ogilvie and Andrew Talijancich bought 9.78% also (in possibly a related acquisition) around the same date. Now we have Pie Funds acquiring.

This is an interesting pattern of NZ acquisition. There would appear to be dots being joined.

These others are either along for the Lang Walker ride (like hungry sucker fish), or there is a buying block slowly but surely gathering power.

Either way, it appears to be a fun ride that is gathering momentum - time will tell how this impacts small holders.
