regarding this thread, the HISTORICAL EVIDENCE supports the view that two ATHEIST religions were to originators of absolute non-violence & morality, namely, Buddhism & Jainism

prior to Buddhism & Jainism, most religions believed in some kind of God and this God was the promoter of killing, war, animal sacrifice, etc

it was ATHEIST Buddhism & Jainism that perfected human morality

Jesus erred greatly - yes, was wrong - when he attempted to create a God of morality

since God in all religions is the creator, maintainer & destroyer, God can never be moral because this God must create disease, death & destruction & worse, punish for sins

only HUMAN BEINGS are able to be MORAL

a 'God' can never be moral

in follows, logically, according to truth, only ATHEISTS can be moral

i recommend you scientifically acknowledge this factual evidence rather than dwell in a feel good world of 'spirituality'
