what jka holders want to hear

Thanks to Jonno7 and Ameliustag for the information on the Morocco exploration potential and targets.

There are other perhaps more important issues JKA holders want addressed at this time:

Firstly, why is the company accepting this deal? The value being placed upon JKA shares and consequently it's assets in this takeover doesn't feel anywhere near adequate to a lot of us. A major reason given so far is access to funding. If it could have been demonstrated to us that all other feasible options for funding the 2014 campaign had been exhausted, then perhaps we would agree so we don't lose our rights to participate in the Tunisian and Nigerian projects.

Secondly why is the company being sold seemingly so cheaply, at this time? Many JKA holders rightly feel uncomfortable about selling the company when it has just endured a drilling disaster.

We need information and detail on funding and value not so much exploration potential. We have plenty of this. We all realize what the JKA SP could be if Genel find a billion+ barrels when drilling Odewayne in Somaliland. IMO a SP increase of many hundreds of percent is a real possibility on a successful onshore well. Don't forget the Odewayne block is surrounded by blocks that have been given exploration potentials of 1 to 6 billion barrels by companies such as Genel/Asante, SW Energy, DNO and Ophir.

Aje and HM3 are near term assets and solid short term funding options in the minds of many JKA holders. In Tanzania coal is present in the exploration area and there are indications for conventional and non conventional O&G plays. This again has lots of potential and plenty of risk.

So what information do we need? IMO information on alternatives to selling the company at this particular time when the SP is at or near historical lows. Also where are our brokers at this time? How come there are no current reports from DJ Carmichael? Minelife Weekly? Patersons? Stellar? What are these brokers, who previously have been so supportive of the SP potential of JKA SP, currently thinking?

Thanks to those who continue to put forward thoughtful and informative posts.

If there is another EGM soon lets all catch up for a beer afterwards.

    Regards,

    Chilloutman
