'based on trading indicators and nothing else'
algorithms successfully do it every day. but in order for them to be profitable, algorithms are employed with massive amounts of capital looking for small margins on high frequency trades to return "better than even" overall odds. they also have no emotions.
i have invested / considering investing a substantial amount of our capital in sterling algorithmic investments! to date it has been pretty good!
