I just figured you put these posts up for a bit of argy bargy and the responses previously were soft ...lol
I actually don't like the weird names and the thought of calling your kid Apple sounds very strange...but then why don't we feel the same about calling your kid Rosemary?
The reference to surnames is how so many English surnames are named after something such as Littlewood or Underhill etc
If taken literally these names are indeed far more peculiar than Apple or Sky etc
It wasn't exactly your point though with the changing of spelling of names and I actually agreed with that bit but you can't have an argument by agreeing :)
