    People rarely stop for buskers from what I've seen, unless the busker is providing some sort of action or movement.

    But I wonder - it is just that people don't want to be seen to be involved or interested, as it represents some sort of notion of "uncool"? That they might be embarrassed by being seen to be not totally disinterested.
