That's the real argument there.
Are great whites still endangered? or have their numbers grown to such an amount that they now scour wider territories for food?
or is it that we are simply seeing more in our waters because of other factors?
Logic says that if something has few predators, lives to around 70 years of age, reproduces every year to 18 months with 2 to a dozen offspring then these sharks cannot remain endangered for long and will in fact continue to over dominate unless there is a natural cull or man does something
