Inversion paid $24M for Cbio not out of some charitable motive... we're talking a road tested INV103. Ten clinical trials behind it I think they know what its capable of with regard to certain blood markers with the right doses. The question is whether it will reduce the SELENA-SLEDAI score. I fully expect a good result from the current clinical trial, because of this history.
INV103 trial may only have started in Oct 2013. Which means, with a 4 week dosage period, and 32 subjects (8 subjects per dose cohort, 4 cohorts) its not out of this world to expect a result after Jan 2013. These things take some time, if the cohorts cannot start all together etc. I just wish we had more info from the company. I'm guessing no news is good news... they are very experienced and they said at the AGM there would be no news for some time.
