At the moment the share price trades in increments of 0.5c. This is a sizeable change in percentage terms compared to the bluechips. This means you cannot buy or sell large chunks of shares without moving the price by 1-2%. If they consolidate it 1 to 10, it would allow trading in smaller price steps and attract investors who want a stable stock.
