Well we were kind of right... Telstra picked up O2 networks who are a specialised IT services business out of Melbourne. They are tiny in comparison to UXC but it certainly shows intent to me that Telstra are preparing to spend up in IT Services.
In days gone by I would agree that Telstra kills IT companies as soon as they buy them (KAZ, Commander) but this whole cloud thing is tailor made for a large carrier with a quality IT Services Offering.
Besides I don't care what happens to Telstra's shares, I am a UXC share holder haha.
