SENARIS - I'm in wait mode as funds are still tied up elsewhere and doing rather well - may all fall over in the next week, but OK since I sold out of LYC.

If I were an insto or hedge fund or just a very large holder wanting to reduce 40/50m shares then it is hard work in small parcels feeding the market.

I'd try to ensure some news story is planted about the upcoming results. Does not work too well in a downturn, but with the current stable price, any movement upwards this close to the ANN will get many excited about 'they must know something', rotten instos get the good news first again, and all the other conspiracy theories out there. I'd be feeding the market with smallish buy orders to massage any momentum upwards. I'd also be selling to create the illusion of volume. What I'm trying to do is create a very large volume day with a couple of cents above what I want to sell at.

And then feed Mr market some volume, and hope there is enough upswing to absorb my supply. If I can get out at anything above the high less 2c then I will have achieved my objective - to unload a big chunk of shares without having to discount the price.

May all be total crap, but would have the hallmark of a classic P&D. Which may or may not occur. I just think one should be aware of the possibility of one at this time.
