You can go direct to the NASA site if you like. NASA says the record was broken in September 2013.

The record is in fact true for the period of NASA measurements. Clearly there may well have been more 100 years ago or 200 etc etc.

There are also many reports that say the TOTAL ice in antarctica has also increased which counteracts your ice is melting theory.

Now why doesn't your theory also apply to the North pole then?
