i'm out...

Good afternoon everyone.

Its with a heavy heart that I tell you that today I sold out of Vmoto.

For those that follow my posts, you may have noticed that recently, as the feeling grew more 'frothy', I changed my sentiment from "Buy" to "LT Buy" instead.

I have been in this share for over 13 years and when I first bought it, no one told me the rule about not falling in love with stocks.

With the trials and tribulations over the years and the spectacular fall from over 21.5c, I almost lost my entire life savings. This takes its toll and through persistant averaging down and stubborn patience, I managed to save my arse.

The other day with JC's competition, I said that I felt Vmoto's profit would be at the upper end of forecasts and that as a result I guessed we'd push comfortably through 5c. With today's share price of 5.7, I finally put my emotions to one side and concluded that if what I thought was true, then all good news and share price appreciation was already factored in and that short term risk, is now probably to the downside.

Added to that, its been nearly 2 years since America had a full 10% correction on the Dow and I feel its way overdue. A 1,700 point drop over there will punish every stock here, regardless of their fundamentals.

So, for now I'm out.

Do I think the SP will be higher than 5.7c in the future? Yes.
Do I expect the Dow to correct? Yes.
Do I believe all positive news is already baked in to today's SP? Yes.
Do I believe in the company any less? Oh please.
Am I out for good? Hmm
Will John Farnham do another concert after his "Last Time" tour? :-)


To those who have just bought in I wish you the very best. I know how exciting it is to hold shares in this company and to the long termers, thank you very much for your valuable contributions to these threads over the years.

This roller coaster has been a frightening ride hasn't it and its funny how something inside just makes you want to do it all over again.

Perhaps though, not just yet.
