What strikes me about Invion is how Glass and Garner bought into it... they might have seen clinical data from the Rheumatoid Arthritis trials that really twigged their interest, to the extent that they risked bailing out Cbio. It interests me that Inverseon stepped into Cbio. Why? To derisk their 2 phase IIs, but its a big risk to take on a failed drug. I don't think we know the full story and that excites me.
GC didn't say who he met. The JPMorgan health conference is full of interesting people. Aussie biotechs go there looking for big US investors. Its best to watch the shareprice and not read too much into his email.
