'I suspect after Dows performance last night that cappers and sellers will be out in force today. My buy order of 6.9c might even be realised today.'
KK, what is the relationship or correlation between the DOW and copper and copper stocks or AVB more specifically? Is it logical? rational? or emotional?
I thought the DOW tanking is due to it having been toppish (if that's a word) for a while now and the correction is due. But I thought it's also linked to the FEB tapering based on an 'improving' economy. Now, if they've gauged it correctly and the economy IS improving, then surely we expect the world to consume more copper no? So why should a tanking DOW cause a copper stock (or AVB specifically) to go down? And how does that fit in with the theory of rotation?
Just trying to figure things out and would like to hear your rationale.
