Wouldn't you first want to see how he performs in his current port folio before putting him forward for more responsibility?
Maybe you have, in which case, can you tell me how his first 100 and something days have impressed you so much? I must admit I haven't really heard much but that could be a good thing - I don't know - please let me know what his successes have been so far.
