I've been trading in mining stocks for a while and thought that'd I like to go to the Diggers and Dealers conference in Kalgoorlie (4-6 August 2014) to learn more about the various companies I'm trading in. However, accommodation is totally booked out already (though I'm told later maybe I might be able to get a homestay), and it is pretty expensive to fly from eastern Australia where I live return to Kalgoorlie, plus there's conference registration fee and accommodation (totalling c. $6000). I'm interested in hearing from anyone who's been whether it's worth attending for ASX traders? Thanks, GW
