Given that this is a project in which almost all information is classified, government can have a big say, and we are at the mercy of three very large companies, there are plenty of issues - but like in Kafka's 'The Trial' we aren't allowed to know what the issues are.
OK, that's a bit of an overstatement, but there obviously are issues over and above the usual ones. Best to just concentrate on RBS analysts' estimate back in 2012(?) that Wilmington was worth %5.85 per SLX share. With the share price having worse than halved since then, in spite of Paducah having been added as a major new project, we can clearly see how highly RBS analysts are rated by the market.
Or maybe the market is expecting SLX to collect 7-10% of profits, whereas the contract clearly says 7-10% of revenues.
