With Mantle back at all time lows I decided to try and see what's going on in the world of brown coal and BCE(black coal equivalent).

It has all gone very quiet in Aus which I am guessing is due to the fact that the Gov is doing final negotiations with ALDP winners as they work towards signing funding agreements before an announcement and promo show.

Mantle are in confidential negotiations so no news from there at present and who knows what Exergen are up to.

I have been looking around India links to see if Tata are still into BC/BCE and any links to Exergen or others in India.

Bit of an old page dated 2007 but has some familiar faces and bio's.

The mention of Tricom Equities in one bio sparked my interest as I remember reading a post recently where a poster mentioned Tricom Equities but I had never heard of them before.

It seems they are no longer around and not much can be found on net about them, however this popped up in google and is well worth a read for any spec stock punters -

Some very hefty fines there, perhaps the often referred to toothless tiger has some teeth after all, though the same names do still pop up here, and there!

Another thing of interest is the mention of Phillip Capital in the same bio. Phillip capital and another Co called Intersuise may be familiar to Mantle holders from here -

These types of links sure get one thinking about their investments in this end of the market and watching who is dealing with who, and who is associated with who.


It seems we share more in common with our often mentioned friends than most of us probably thought. Let's hope something comes from the current "confidential discussions" and Mantle's LV coal and/or gold holdings are developed so we too don't go down the all too familiar path of dilution and shareholder wealth destruction!
