re: Ann: Second Quarter Activities Report Per... This latest announcement seems to go to the heart of what is wrong with MEL at the moment which is "why bother to tell the shareholders anything".

The latest map indicates that two blocks of PEL 16 have been relinquished. But there is nothing in the quarterly or the latest map that tells us that. Shareholders have to compare the map released today with the old map and figure it out themselves. I wouldn't have thought to look at this until CSGguy pointed it out. Every other O&G company I know tells its shareholders what is going on with the permits.

This topic reminded me that MEL had said at some point that they had been awarded some other tenement nearby. Checking back on the ASX announcements on 16/10/2012 MEL put out an announcement that they had been awarded PEL 130 and PPLA 9. What happened to these? Were they awarded or werent they? Why aren't they mentioned in this announcement?

I tried to find this announcement on the MEL website but it doesn't include announcements from as far back as 2012. (shakes head) Then I thought well I'll just check the announcement from today and discovered that neither the latest quarterly or the revision today has been put onto the company's website. (Shakes head again)

But what has been considered important to load onto the company's website is Obama's State of the Union address.
