The Catholic religion should be disbanded immediately. Nothing Godly could possibly come from a religion that has turned a blind eye to such unforgivable crimes. The least the government could do is remove the tax-free status of the Catholic church. Then lets get rid of those other pesky religions that have popped up thousands of years after the fact.

It's a bit like whack-a-mole. No matter how many times we disprove a religion another one pops up to be hit on the head. Maybe Mickey Mouse as the Scorchers Apprentice is a better analogy. Every time he cut the broom in half it became two. How many Christian faiths do we have now? For Gods sake, stop cutting the brooms in half.
Of course it's not just the Catholics, but they, by far have the most appalling record. Any institution of human affairs that is dominantly patriarchal tends to be a basket case. Just look at patriarchal religions and Muslim countries.
