I don't see what the Liberals have to do with PTR's problems.
There's 13 million on the table (from the government) if Petratherm can find 5 million.
It appears that PTR has frittered away what cash (and goodwill) it had by spreading its interests and resources too thinly thereby achieving ?
To be fair it has had to survive through one of the worst periods for small caps in recent history (and it's still rough) but management's predeliction for the next beut idea hasn't helped.
Gas was all the rage until the Americans found lots of it so why is PTR chasing yesterday's big idea unless it reckons it will snare a big investor. To do that will take time - at least a year, probably a lot more: I'm not sure PTR has that time and certainly doesn't appear to have the cash to pursue it.
Meanwhile 13 million is on the table if PTR can find 5 million.
