100% agree with you on that.
There was another thread which he started a few days ago, "labor asking pensioners to sell their homes", which was utterly false. Hairyback was referring to Howes' speech at the National Press Club on that day. Yes, Howes is a union leader, but he does not speak for Labor policies.
I would have no problem with Hairyback starting a thread perhaps with the header "Howes wants pensioners to sell their homes" or something along that line, but for him to do what he was just intentionally misleading, in fact, that thread header is potentially defamatory.
