PM's pay is/was $507 ? which is about half Glenn Stevens pay at the RBA.
But I do not know whether he gets lifetime gold travel and other perks..
Of course there are now the two arguments
you get what you pay for (esp. when competing with private enterprise) and
the should lead by example, if high wages are an issue....
