    She may have been found guilty, but not by a fair and just court. There was no motive but for the court to accept this would be paramount to admitting that drug dealing is perfectly fine for their own citizens, but not fine for foreigners and they will be shot if they try to mess with the system that ultimately supplements the incomes of policemen and other higher officials who take a large cut from the street dealers or bribing stupid drunk tourists.

    However, that a possibly innocent person should serve six times longer for being found with a harmless than a terrorist that murdered or maimed 100s, speaks volumes about who is really controlling the drug trade over there and how far they will go to protect their racket.

    And as for being paid for interviews. The media were the ones that ensured she spend years more time than was necessary in that hell-hole by deliberately spreading lies to sell newspapers and magazines, leading directly to her extreme mental issues, so I see it as fair compensation.
