I could see them taking a "strategic stake" to block any other suitors or at least keep SYR in the loop (a couple of $m would get them a decent wad of TON). Any takeover would have to be done with scrip at the moment... all SYR cash would be going into the development site would be my guess... and I can't see SYR shareholders caring too much at this stage for a high priced scrip bid for TON. I could be wrong and crazier things have happened! Regardless, you gotta think there is some real strategic value in TON being so close to SYR. Will be interesting to see how things play out.
