I am sure other holy books say the same or something similar. What makes your holy book more special? Which one to believe? Maybe you got it all wrong. Thor was the right god.
Lets face the facts... stick a group of humans on 10 different islands with no outside contact.. They will somehow create their own versions of a religion. These religions die when the people stop believing.
Look outside the box and you will see that all religions are basically the same. Man made. You make god and not the other way around.
