Basil,

Cpl has a crappy price and being shorted for a few reasons:
1) crap coal price
2) not yet fully funded
3) approvals from reg authority pending
4) target time line to production slipping.

1 will improve over time
2 will come once approvals sorted
3 pending - likely given no interveners
4 will be confirmed post 1, 2, &3 sorted

Investors will come back in when de-risked... Taggart contract awarded subject to aer approvals...so hopefully no money down for the construction..

Don't think forge collapse has much to do with cpl ( though whoever is shorting stock to put a low ball bid in may make some noise about forge and cpl

Sad to hear about fge - but we have our own issues on the cpl forum :).
