Ann: Quarterly Activities Report , page-2

I love reading the stuff these people put out, whether it's a presentation or a humble quarterly. They so sock it back to the nay-sayers, I always come away feeling inspired and optimistic, and glad I hold a few of their shares. Take this quote from a quote in the quarterly:

" ... even if China's growth in coal
use were to slow sharply, the world's
second-biggest importer India is likely
to experience big growth in coal-fired
power ... "

My favourite was a presentation last year (can't put my finger on it just now) when they argued eruditely how environmentally friendly thermal coal is, pointing out that a modern power station burning coal is thermally more efficient and cleaner than thousands of families burning dung in their homes. Tell that to the greenies!

Anyway, the market seems to like them just now, judging by the close this pm.
