You are not really being honest. The line you peddle is that of Theosophy pure and simple. That strange religion wants to make the bible a text for its own esoteric and syncretic interpretation to enable it to construct a working synthesis of the world's religions. So it is very unlikely to have a genuine interest in an historically accurate NT and thus can readily be dismissed as an antithetical and inaccurate source on this issue.
I was aware of your religious convictions and realised your "war" against Christianity came from your religious devotion to the teachings of that mystical religion, however the New Testament, unlike your counter-theory, doesn't need religious support for its authenticity as an historical narrative of the life and death of Jesus Christ but can be shown to be so on secular linguistic and historiographical grounds.
In other words Theosophy needs an historical Jesus like a hole in the head and that I think, underscores your over zealous defence of what is one of your core religious beliefs.
