ted, i know that post, and I agree with 95% of it apart from the disclosure issue. I think they have to disclose the preliminary results due to asx disclosure rules. You can't hide that from the market, the risk of insider trading is too high.
I think preliminaries are not that late. They may come in March say (roughly 30% later than the earliest date they gave).
re the AGM comment "well underway" - who knows what this means?? We don't know if they only just managed to get 32 volunteers in October. These things are more complicated that we can really have insight into. Once GC reveals one fact investors will have a million other questions, and the s/p will fluctuate based on half-truths or half-knowledge.
I can understand their policy of minimal info once the trial kicks off. I would do the same thing.
