I'm with you both completely on this and I'm also 100% behind our new CEO who's put this on the table quite quickly since taking over and it's not a nice first (significant) Announcement to have to release.
The road is long and winding, there may be a few pot holes but as long as it's not blocked, we can still get to where we want to go.
