Here is a religious take on evolution: Take on evolution by a creationist

I suggest that you read the paragraph that starts with "Evolutionists maintain we have a universal genetic code. So do creationists."

The logic appears to start with watches having a common design, but no common ancestor, and were made by watchmakers. Somehow this is a rebuttal that universal genetic code indicates a common ancestor for life. A better explanation is that God programmed living creatures with similar characteristics.

What is new to me is that watches have a built in code equivalent to the genetic code to built watches, and replicate to make ancestors possible.

The logic escapes me - maybe I have a low IQ - so any enlightenment will be gratefully received.
