The stoploss feature of these products can really bite you.
I bought 10,000 of the RBA Mini Warrant SRXKRB on 23 Aug 13.
Then on 10 Dec 13 I got stopped out for a large loss (magnified by the leverage).
According to Murphy that was around the low point and look at SRX today.
Its great if the leverage works for you, however I now try to be more conservative with the leverage.
The temptation is to take profits early (being aware of the danger of a potential leveraged downturn)whereas the loss involved in hitting a stop loss can be larger.
I have traded hundreds of these Mini series and I am now very cautious with them.
