I think your legend detail in two places about the 31st march date and the BioMerieux collaboration is not quite what you meant. They retained the right to re-engage up to 31st March. Nothing to stop them re-engaging after that date, but Philips could simply not agree to do so. To my bush lawye's eyes, I'd wonder how readily they could re-engage beforehand anyway; if the collaboration had been going nowhere, BioM would have to come up with some enticing reason for Philips to proceed with them. I think the clause was a face-saver for both sides. "We don't want to admit the project failed."

I'm not sure if that means the 31st is a furphy, but I do agree that it's not a date for us to set our minds on for when the fireworks display commences. Far more wheels to turn, including the marketing as someone else mentioned. There are many more issues than the technical and scientific, which you have already recognised in your earlier posts.

Another small reflection: why are so many CR announcements followed by a price drop? Stag selling, I'd expect. Didn't happen with ADO's recent CR. Why? I suspect that for the most part it went into hands that wanted to hold; new hands, and some old hands who didn't for the most part want to let any of their stock go. So the price held, and did better than hold, I think. So it would seem for all of us, that the CR strategy, like quickly ripping off the sticking plaster from that hairy leg, produced the least pain.
