Years ago the PS teachers started to tell their pupils to not take any notice of their parents. My daughters were at school at the time . my recently retired PS teacher mate told me that when he started he done coaching .....paid....and coached a lot of kids for free....he soon tired of it and after he retired he said I finished up walking into class nodded ....wrote on the blackboard then forgot they were there. all they were doing was running their own little schemes down the back of the classroom. H sent his adopted son to a private school. SAD
