My understanding is that the unrest in Thailand is focused on corruption and nepotism. It is not about jobs and the impact of foreign investment etc. Basically I don't see the same risk in Thailand as we would say, in Indonesia where you sometimes see the politicians using changes to restrictions to foreign investment to manipulate nationalistic feelings for electoral purposes.
